The operating problem

What made the work difficult?

A service visit involves several people and decisions. When a request, equipment context, schedule, field findings, and approval live apart, it becomes hard to see who owns the next step.

  • A request needs the asset and customer impact attached from the start.

  • Dispatch needs to account for technician qualification, working hours, and conflicts.

  • Extra work needs a visible internal decision before the technician completes the visit.

What Halo did

Connect the people, rules, and system.

Halo designed and built the browser-local ServiceOps demonstration, its synthetic service records, role-specific workspaces, scheduling checks, internal approval rule, and record-derived timeline. The public walkthrough explains the operating model without connecting to a live service system.

  • Connect customer intake and equipment context to a shared service record.
  • Show customer, coordinator, dispatcher, technician, and supervisor perspectives in responsive demo views.
  • Make scheduling exceptions, approval holds, and the completion summary visible in a guided fictional scenario.

Supported outcome

Make the next step clearer.
